I ordered the Chicken Katsu, Pork Teriyaki, and Miso Soup. Since I have two kids, the staff kindly asked if we needed extra bowls and utensils for them before we even had to ask. The food was excellent--perfectly cooked and not dry at all, with a nice chewiness to the chicken. The Pork Teriyaki was a little salty for my taste, but when paired with the rice or salad that came with it, it was just right. It seems like it was intended to be enjoyed that way. Got the basic chicken teriyaki and it was pretty much perfect! Chicken wasn't too dry and the portion size is plenty :D (which is vry important to me with takeout) . It was ready in less than 10 minutes and they were very nice :)
Food is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! Just moved into the area and this place makes me feel like we are back at our home spot for teriyaki!! This is a must try place!!!!!
Since the new ownership, that's been there for almost 2 years now I think... The food is completely changed and for the good. When you call, make sure you order everything the new way... Lol they still give you the option for the old way, which is bland breaded crap for pampered Caucasians that don't understand culture and good stir fry! I recommend the Kung pow chicken the new way... It will blow your mind. I am very fortunate to have this caliber of Asian food in Orting Wa.
I was pleasantly surprise by this place. We've lived here for 10 yrs and I never really loved teriyaki, but this place has made me convert! Very kind service. Prices are very fair for the portions they give you. They are so much more than teriyaki. This is a must!
Really good portions and the food is good! Love the orange chicken and the combo fried rice. Chicken teryiaki is good, too! The restaurant is always clean and the people are very friendly. We don't eat out a lot so it's nice to have a place like this to go to on a day when we can.
I love Wa Wa! The sauce for the chicken teriyaki is the best! The chicken is always tender and cooked just right.. And the salad is simple but I always look forward to it. The lettuce is fresh and crisp and the dressing is soo good! One of my favorite places to visit ‼
Try their chicken ramen soup! It's sooo yummy. And, their teriyaki is always moist and generous portions. They are the only teriyaki we get. 5hank you Wawa team!
We moved to Orting a while ago and actually had Wawa on our move in day. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed it yet especially since I see dated negative reviews. Our family orders Wawa at least 1 time a month if not more. The fried rice is a go to and done very well. I order the general Tso chicken almost every time. We also enjoy the teriyaki chicken and the yakisoba noodles. Wawa never lets us down. The food is good and the service has been great. I made a $100 order a few weeks ago and the owner gave me an entire bottle of their salad dressing! So, as an elite yelper, look past the few old negative reviews. Wawa is good! We were very surprised at what we found when we moved to Orting in Wawa. This is not a 1 visit review. I've been eating here consistently for over a year.
